Electric Relaxation was formed in January 2006 by bassist Thomas Carter in an effort to explore new avenues of artistic expression in band form. Members of this distinctive, soul-inspired unit were selected not because of individual over-achievements, but for their ability to follow a cooperative, team-oriented approach. Electric Relaxation is a five-piece company of R&B, soul, and hip-hop maestros delivering a sound of diversity blended into unified verse. Members include Ev Jones as lead singer, backup vocalist / keyboard player Joseph Cummings, Leonard Stevens on the steel pedal guitar, drummer Emanuel Washington, and Thomas Carter on bass guitar.
